Peter Jeremy William Huggins AKA Jeremy Brett was born on November third, 1933. His father, Army Lt Colonel Henry
William Huggins forbade Jeremy from using the family name when he wanted to persue his acting career. So Jeremy Brett took
the name of the makers of his first suit, "Brett & Co."
Jeremy Brett was a versatile actor who portrayed
roles from Shakespear's 'MacBeth', to Freddie in 'My Fair Lady' to Tony Vernon-Smith in 'Mad Dogs and Englishmen.'
Despite his other film and theatrical acclaims, Jermey
Brett will always be remember as the definitive Sherlock Holmes.
Jeremy Brett, a fantastic actor and an even better person,
sadly passed away in his home on September 12, 1995 of heart disease.
Jeremy Brett will always be remembered in the hearts
